In November 2019, we embarked on a new adventure. Say hello to Zengenti Velocity - the future of Zengenti community events.

This year, we decided to take the best bits from previous events, added more one-to-one catchups with our teams, with the aim of helping you, our community, address your current challenges.

Zengenti Velocity was born – the event for everyone.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a developer or a content author who uses Contensis every day, or if you head up a team who uses the system. At Zengenti Velocity we give you plenty of valuable takeaways.

Keep reading to find out what people on the maiden voyage took away from the event.

What did we get up to in November 2019?

  • We listened to a company update from Richard Chivers, CEO.
  • We heard an update on Contensis, where we are now and where the product is heading from Richard Saunders, Product Owner of Contensis.
  • We held a Lightning Decision Jam solving the common theme "What's your biggest content challenge?" and ran developer-led session looking at various approaches you can take to building websites.
  • We showcased project case studies on how we’re building websites today - Ordnance Survey and King’s College London Maths School.
  • Gareth Lloyd, UX researcher presented usability testing best practices.
  • There was a live coding session where we ran through coding and setting up a working example of a blog using the latest technologies we’re using in Contensis.
  • ‘Have a go’ usability testing was available throughout the day.
  • Plenty of networking opportunities throughout the breaks and at the social after the event.
  • There was an in-depth Q&A panel session.
  • All this and the most delicious lunch to keep us all fuelled for the whole day!
